Tom Cruise Treats Suri to a Magical Day at Disneyland

Making for ever the adorable duo, Tom Cruise treated his little princess Suri to a magical afternoon visit to Disneyland in Anaheim .

The casually dressed "Mission: Impossible" megastar walked hand-in-hand with his darling daughter, who looked too-cute in a pink and white polka dot sweater and purple dress with a matching face paint job.

The quality bonding time comes as Cruise is enjoying a break from work before he gets ready to promote his next theatrical release, "Rock of Ages".

Set for a June 15th cinema debut, the Adam Shankman directed picture follows two young people who are chasing their dreams in the big city before meeting one another and falling in love at first sight - though their romance faces a series of challenges.

The film also stars Malin Akerman, who recently raved about her chance to do a duet with Cruise, as she told Celebuzz, “It was surreal to do a movie with him! I’ve literally died and gone to heaven. We sing I Wanna Know What Love Is by Foreigner."

"  He is  so fantastic," Miss Akerman continued. " I  did a movie with Katie [Holmes] two years prior so I knew him a little bit. He is amazing. He is a man who can do whatever he sets his mind to and do it extremely well. And he’s super positive–I can' t   say a bad thing about him. He’s unbelievable."

New writer for Cruise's Top Gun sequel

Although 'X-Men: First Class' writers Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz were previously working on a script for the follow up to the 1986 action movie - which featured Tom as an advanced fighter pilot - 'The Town's Peter Craig will now be solely responsible for penning the new movie.

While details of the plot are being kept under wraps, Tom has previously confirmed it will have 'the same kind of tone' as the first film.

He said: 'We're working on it. I hope we can figure this out to go do it again.

'If we can find a story that we all want to do, we all want to make a film that is in the same kind of tone as the other one and shoot it in the same way as we shot 'Top Gun.' '

Tony Scott, who produced the first film, is set to direct the forthcoming movie, and Tom explained the duo and 'Top Gun' producer Jerry Bruckheimer have been brainstorming ideas for the sequel.

He added to MTV News: 'I said to Tony I want to make another movie with him. He and I haven't made a film since 'Days of Thunder'.

Can Tom Cruise Save the Weapon that Costs More than Australia?

Only one man can rehabilitate the tarnished image of the F-35 warplane, and he goes by the name of Maverick.

The F-35 is the most expensive weapons program in history with projected lifetime costs of one trillion dollars--or more than Australia's entire GDP. The program has been plagued by so many cost overruns and delays that the Economist warned of a possible "death spiral."

For budget hawks, the F-35 program is a target rich environment. The 2010 bipartisan Bowles-Simpson Commission on deficit reduction suggested halving the number of F-35s for the Air Force and Navy and replacing them with F-16s and F-18s, which would save close to $30 billion from 2011 to 2015.

The magazine Foreign Policy recently asked experts to name defense programs that should be axed, and the top choice by far was the F-35. As one expert put it: "We have had only one fighter jet shot down by an enemy fighter jet in the last 40 years. We simply don't need to spend over a trillion on a new fighter at this point."

Tom Cruise is 'down to earth'

Tom Cruise is "very down to earth", assures his former co-star Falk Hentschel.
Falk starred alongside the actor and Cameron Diaz in the 2009 action movie Knight and Day.
The German actor - who landed his acting break in 2005 with a role in the Emmy Award winning show Arrested Development - enjoyed working with Tom and was pleased to find the star was friendly on and off set.

"He's a joy to work with. He's a great performer, very personable, very down to earth and very supportive," Falk told Cover Media at last night's London premiere of his new film Street Dance 2.
The actor's minor part alongside Hollywood heavyweights opened the door to a stint in hit series CSI and his lead role in the new 3D dance movie. He says he has Tom to thank for teaching him how to work his way up the ladder in a tough industry.
"Just watching what he does shows that it takes commitment to get far," he said.
In his latest venture Falk plays Ash, an aspiring professional street dancer who travels the world to find the best talent for a competition in Paris. Sofia Boutella portrays Eva, Ash's love interest - a Latin dancer who injects her unique flavour into the team's street routine. Sofia is full of praise for Falk, saying he was "amazing" to work with on the film.
"We have a great professional relationship and great friendship," she said.
The production team and directors Max Giwa and Dania Pasquini travelled the globe for a year attending dance competitions to find actors for the sequel.
Max admits the casting was a difficult task as they had a wealth of talent to choose from. However, he believes the quest was worth the effort as he wanted the sequel to top the first hit film.
"For the second film we knew we had to find new talent and we wanted an exceptional cast so we spent a year travelling Europe to find them and I think we did a pretty good job," he said.
Street Dance 2 is set to hit UK cinemas from March 30.
