much-talked about project's debut, Katie Holmes was joined by husband Tom Cruise
for The ReelzChannel world premiere of "The Kennedys" in Beverly Hills,
California on Monday evening (March 28).
Having been dropped by the History
Channel, the work focusing on the the former U.S. President and his family
boasts the beautiful Miss Holmes as Jacqueline Kennedy while Greg Kinnear plays
John F. Kennedy.Of the decision to let another network premiere "The Kennedys,"
a rep from the History Channel told press.
"While the film is produced and acted
with the highest quality, after viewing the final product in its totality, we
have concluded this dramatic interpretation is not a fit for the History brand.
We recognize historical fiction is an important medium for storytelling and
commend all the hard work and passion that has gone into the making of the
series, but ultimately deem this as the right programming decision for our
network."
Zac Efron looks dapper while leaving an
office building on Monday (April 23) in London, England.
The 24-year-old actor jetted across the
pond to promote his latest project, The Lucky One, which he screened in NYC with
co-star Taylor Schilling.
Over the weekend, Zac participated in a

super excited, a new promo photo of Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt has been
released.
In the poster, the "Top Gun" stud poses
in character sporting a tough look on his face with smoke and flames in the
background of the "Ghost Protocol" pic.
Meanwhile, Tom was spotted arriving at
his New York City apartment on Monday (August 8) after taking a helicopter into
town with wife Katie Holmes and daughter Suri.
The 49-year-old actor later ventured out
for lunch followed by a little movie location scouting at landmarks such as the

Bringing an end to a work-free weekend,
Tom Cruise joined Katie Holmes and Suri for a day out in Pittsburgh,

and Tom Cruise has landed the starring role of Jack Reacher in the upcoming
thriller "One Shot".
The "Minority Report" actor told press he
was thrilled to score the gig, based on the novels by author Lee
Child.
Tom explained, "Firstly, I'm very
sensitive to it. This is Lee's book and Lee's character. Him giving me his
blessing is what made me do it. If he hadn't then I wouldn't have done
it."
Cruise continued, "Lee told me that the
reason he wrote him that size is because that was just one element to his
character, and that opened the door to me playing him."
"Reacher is such a great character. He
doesn't have a cell phone, he doesn't have email. He's off the grid. He pays for
things in cash. People look at things through the prism of the colors of their
life but Jack Reacher does things the way we want to sometimes. In that sense
he's sort of Dirty Harry, a James Bond, a Josey Wales."
