The 33-year-old mother held tightly on to her six-year-old daughters hand while the two headed to Make Meaning to decorate crafts and treats.
In personal news, the “Dawson’s Creek” actress recently took Suri to her hometown of Toledo, OH where the pair visited family members and shopped at a local mall.
Despite reports that Tom Cruise kept Katie away from her family, a source is saying that the former couple visited her hometown on multiple occasions.
“To say Tom prevented anything is a gross lie. He not only didn't prevent [Suri having a relationship with Holmes' family] but encouraged it and paid for it!" the source explains. "The first several birthday parties Katie and Tom threw for Suri had the family and cousins come to town – all expenses were paid for by Tom."
